Features

Inconel 718 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy containing iron, niobium and molybdenum, together with controlled additions of titanium and aluminum. The alloy combines high strength with good corrosion resistance and maintains reliable mechanical properties across a broad temperature range.

One of the key characteristics of Inconel 718 is its ability to develop high strength through precipitation hardening while retaining good fabrication and welding characteristics. It also provides excellent fatigue and creep-rupture performance, making it particularly suitable for components exposed to high mechanical loads and elevated operating temperatures.

Inconel 718 is commonly supplied in plate, sheet, bar, rod, wire, forging and ring forms for aerospace, power generation, oil and gas, nuclear and other demanding engineering applications.
