Features

Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy known for its combination of good mechanical strength, toughness and excellent corrosion resistance. The alloy is particularly resistant to seawater and performs reliably in a variety of reducing and neutral environments.

Its corrosion resistance makes Monel 400 widely used in marine engineering, chemical processing, heat exchangers, pumps, valves and piping systems. The material also maintains useful mechanical properties across a broad temperature range and provides good resistance to many alkalis and salt solutions.

Monel 400 is available in a wide range of product forms, including plate, sheet, strip, bar, rod, pipe, tube, wire and forgings, allowing it to be used for both fabricated equipment and machined components.
