Features

Incoloy 925 is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-iron-chromium alloy containing molybdenum, copper, titanium and aluminum. Its alloying system combines the corrosion resistance associated with nickel-based alloys with high mechanical strength developed through age-hardening treatment.

The alloy provides excellent resistance to general corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking in many aggressive environments. Its resistance to sulfide stress cracking makes it particularly suitable for oil and gas equipment exposed to sour service conditions containing hydrogen sulfide.

Incoloy 925 is commonly supplied as bar, rod, forgings, tubular products, fasteners and machined components. Its combination of high strength and corrosion resistance makes it particularly useful for downhole equipment and other highly loaded components operating in corrosive environments.
