Features

Hastelloy C-22 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy designed for excellent corrosion resistance in both oxidizing and reducing environments. Its high chromium content provides strong resistance to oxidizing media, while molybdenum and tungsten contribute to resistance against localized corrosion. The alloy offers excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking, making it suitable for demanding chemical processing and pollution control applications.

  • Excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion

  • Outstanding resistance to stress corrosion cracking

  • Excellent performance in both oxidizing and reducing environments

  • High resistance to chloride-induced localized corrosion

  • Good weldability and fabrication characteristics

  • Suitable for a wide range of aggressive chemical environments
