Features
Hastelloy G-30 is a high-chromium nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy developed to provide excellent performance in strongly oxidizing environments. It is particularly effective in phosphoric acid service, including industrial acid streams containing chlorides, fluorides and other impurities.
Its combination of chromium, molybdenum and tungsten provides broad resistance to aggressive chemical media, while the relatively high chromium content contributes strong resistance to oxidizing acids. The alloy also provides good resistance to localized corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.
Hastelloy G-30 is well suited for demanding chemical-processing equipment, including heat exchangers, process piping, vessels and components used in phosphoric acid and fertilizer production.
