Advantages of Monel 400:
Monel 400 is a corrosion-resistant alloy with the largest usage, widest applications, and excellent overall performance. It exhibits exceptional corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid, fluorine gas, hot concentrated alkaline solutions, neutral solutions, water, seawater, atmosphere, and organic compounds. It generally does not suffer from stress corrosion cracking and has good machinability.
Application:
1.Seamless water supply and steam pipes in power plants.
2.Seawater heat exchangers and evaporators.
3.Sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid environment equipment.
4.Crude oil distillation equipment.
5.Pump shafts and propellers for seawater service equipment.
6.Equipment used in uranium extraction and isotope separation.
7.Pumps and valves for hydrochloric acid production equipment.
