Dagu Metal Materials recently welcomed representatives from Hengrui Process Equipment Co., Ltd. for a technical and business meeting at its Wuxi facility. The visit followed the cooperation established between the two companies in late 2025 and focused on material requirements for several upcoming equipment projects.
During the meeting, the two teams reviewed the use of stainless steel and corrosion-resistant alloys in pressure vessels, heat exchangers and process piping systems. Discussions covered 316L stainless steel, 2205 duplex stainless steel and nickel-based alloys, with particular attention given to material specifications, dimensions, heat treatment conditions and subsequent fabrication.

The visiting team also toured the material storage and processing areas, where both sides discussed plate cutting, machining, material identification and inspection procedures. Several requirements from previous orders were reviewed on site, including dimensional tolerances and the preparation of material documentation.
A separate discussion was held on nickel-based alloys for equipment operating in more corrosive environments. Alloy 625 and other corrosion-resistant grades were considered for selected components where conventional stainless steel may not provide the required service performance.
The meeting also covered the coordination of material preparation with the customer's production schedule. Instead of preparing all materials in a single shipment, the two sides discussed arranging supply in stages according to fabrication progress, allowing different grades and specifications to be prepared as they are required.
At the end of the visit, both teams confirmed the material requirements for the next stage of the project and agreed to continue technical communication as equipment drawings and production schedules are finalized.
The visit was the latest exchange between the two companies following their initial cooperation in 2025 and provided an opportunity to review both completed work and upcoming material requirements.
